ACTIVATED CARBON PELLETS CarbonCatalysts are extruded activated carbons with high-performance catalytic properties, and manufactured in optimally controlled multi-stage fluidized-bed reactor. The pore system and surface chemistry is modified via a partial gasification with steam and carbon dioxide to create catalysts with impressive catalytic activity. Typical areas of application for these catalysts are the simultaneous destruction of SO2/NOx from flue gasses, or the denitrification of already desulphurized flue gas in an upstream stage with a classic wet scrubber. CarbonCatalysts feature excellent catalytic properties, enable an operational life over several years and have low pressure drops with strong mechanical characteristics.
